In a telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif exchanged views regarding the latest developments in Syria as well as the political negotiations on ceasefire, humanitarian assistance and the need to confront terrorist groups.
The two sides also emphasized the need for regular and sustained communication between officials of the two countries.
Accordingly Iran's Deputy FM Hossein Amir Abdollahian had a phone conversation with UN Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura on the Syrian Peace Talks in Geneva on Friday.
